About the role

  • Manage physical inventory counts (monthly, quarterly, etc.)
  • Ensure ongoing inventory accuracy
  • Coordinate the timing of file extracts and reconciliation program
  • Investigate, resolve and prevent inventory discrepancies
  • Correct back routes/re-routes and shipping errors
  • Create and distribute daily inventory reconciliation reports and warehouse productivity reports
  • Coordinate and monitor automated stock transfers

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; Associate's Degree in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred
  • Minimum two to three years related experience
  • Experienced in database analysis, query development, and inventory planning and analysis
  • Minimum one to three years industry experience preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications
  • Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills
  • Skilled in report development, writing, and advanced mathematical calculations
  • Ability to identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities
  • Proven organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments
  • Ability to work independently while following established policies and procedures
