About the role

Build and maintain the main internal administrative tool (administrative platform)
Build customer configurations and customer support tools for several cross-functional teams
Use tools, frameworks, and libraries to build a robust administrative platform (currently using JavaScript and Python)
Bring industry best practices for standing up custom applications
Review peer work throughout all stages of the development lifecycle
Support team members through constructive code reviews and pair programming
Contribute to building, deploying, and operating services
Contribute to build systems for large JavaScript and/or PHP projects

More than 5 years of experience building and managing high volume web applications
Experience with React, TypeScript, and Python (expected)
Experience with JavaScript
PHP is a plus
Experience building, deploying and operating services
Understanding of core web performance and server-side applications
Deep knowledge of feature flagging and incremental feature delivery
Experience contributing to build systems for large JavaScript and/or PHP projects
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Deep understanding of web technologies such as web browsers, HTTP, JavaScript, and the DOM
BONUS: Contributed to open-source JavaScript tools and frameworks
BONUS: Knowledge of A/B testing
BONUS: Public presentations experience
