Work on Clio’s Data Insights team and gain exposure to how data science shapes product strategy, customer experience, and business decisions.
Partner with Data Scientists and cross-functional teams to contribute to Clio’s mission to transform the legal experience for all.
Support data-driven projects and lead smaller analyses independently.
Assisting in exploratory data analysis to uncover product usage patterns, trends, or anomalies.
Preparing datasets using Python and SQL for modeling, reporting, or dashboarding.
Supporting the development and evaluation of machine learning models (e.g. churn prediction, user segmentation).
Running A/B test analyses and helping summarize experimental outcomes.
Building and updating dashboards, slide decks, or notebooks to present findings.
Maintaining project tracking tools like dbt, GitHub, or internal documentation.
Participating in sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and team knowledge shares.

Requirements

A 1st year Masters Data Science student or a fourth year undergrad student, enrolled in a co-op program
Focus on data science, statistics, machine learning
Available for an 8 month co-op term (May to December)
Based in Toronto, Vancouver, or Calgary
