About the role
- Directs the organization, coordination and administration of patient care in the outpatient setting
- Serves as a resource to nurse managers, educators and staff regarding nursing practice
- Oversees daily operations in conjunction with nurse managers
- Ensures that nursing and clinical practice are in accordance with nursing and organizational philosophy, standards and goals
- Contributes to strategic goals, staff development, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Requirements
- BSN with Master's degree required
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Four years recent clinical practice to include at least one year healthcare management experience
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in ambulatory
- Prior experience in population health management preferred.
