About the role
- Designs, engineers and implements systems infrastructure
- Installs and maintains operating systems and related management and reporting software
- Proactively manages and monitors enterprise systems environment
- Troubleshoots and resolves problems in the systems environment
- Maintains currency, stability and security in the enterprise systems infrastructure
- Applies proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues
- Assists in the development and execution of strategic and tactical technical project plans in coordination with and support of the PMO
- Participates in proof-of-concept studies of new technologies that may position the enterprise infrastructure platforms to grow and modernize in alignment with enterprise strategic plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and five years of experience in information systems design, configuration and management OR nine years of experience
- 7 years of enterprise level experience in a technical position responsible for implementing, configuring and managing enterprise server, storage or infrastructure environments
- 2 years of enterprise level experience in information systems design, including leading design implementations, required
- ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of the position start date
