About the role
- Directs all phases of client programs, from inception through completion for New York’s residential energy efficiency program
- Responsible for the cost, implementation and performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs
- Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes
- Coordinates preparation of business plans, work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract
- Acts as the primary customer contact for program activities; leads program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and performance
- Develops new business or expands the product line with the client
- Analyzes problem/opportunity areas of assigned programs and evaluates options
- Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to program plans and schedules; identifies program problems and obtains solutions
- Determines profitability and viability of new products or program enhancements
- Develops strategies and tactics to ensure effective program performance over the entire life cycle
- Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, marketing, operations, analytics, and administrative areas
- Manage one or several concurrent contracts $2m-$5m annual revenue
- Execute contracts for compliance and client satisfaction
- Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, software development) typically consisting of 7-15 people
- May create technical content & intellectual property
- Teach and trains others in Practice; develop training materials and process documentation
- Lead group meetings and foster an environment of transparency and communication
- Work closely with leadership on most complex, high risk, high payoff, accounts and projects
Requirements
- 8+ years relevant industry technical certification/training
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of people management
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent organization, record-keeping, and time management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office preferred (Outlook, Excel, OneDrive)
- Proficiency with mobile applications, specifically IOS and Salesforce
- Ability to pass level 1 and level 2 background checks and drug screening
