About the role
- Handling customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Documenting conversations and helping people navigate different energy efficiency programs.
- Recommending products or services to customers.
- Respond to inbound calls from program participants, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing accurate and helpful information.
- Working with marginalized populations.
- Data entry, verification, and report generation.
- Meet key performance indicators (KPIs), including hold times and after-call work completion.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience and interest in a customer-facing role.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to learn how to use unfamiliar software relatively quickly.
- A strong desire to be a part of the solution to climate change.
- The ability to work well with all levels of management, colleagues, and external contacts.
- Oral fluency in French, Cantonese, Mandarin, Farsi, Punjabi, or Tagalog is a strong asset.
