About the role
- Lead the day-to-day management and delivery of energy efficiency or demand-side management programs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for utility clients, implementation partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee program performance, ensuring goals, timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including operations, customer support, engineering, and field delivery resources.
- Monitor program metrics, analyze performance data, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with program guidelines, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Support program planning activities, including forecasting, budgeting, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with leadership to support program growth, enhancements, and new initiatives.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience in program management, project management, or a related operational role.
- Experience managing client-facing programs, preferably in energy efficiency, utilities, sustainability, or public-sector services.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to clients or senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with CRM or program management systems is an asset.
- A collaborative working style and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- A strong desire to contribute to meaningful work that supports climate action and energy efficiency.
- Experience working with underserved or marginalized populations is considered an asset.
