About the role

  • Generate new business opportunities and build strong relationships with prospective clients.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to advance opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain valuable industry connections to stay ahead of market trends.
  • Leverage expertise in energy efficiency to guide client engagements and shape innovative solutions.
  • Lead proposal development efforts and ensure cohesive, high‑quality business development execution.
  • Required to travel nationwide approximately 20–30%.

Requirements

  • 4–8 years’ experience in the Energy Efficiency or Utility sector.
  • Post‑secondary education in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, or Business Administration.
  • Experience with Canadian energy efficiency programs or utilities.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Canada.
  • Strong relationship‑management skills, especially with utility clients.
  • Program management or delivery experience is an asset.
  • Bilingual English/French proficiency is an asset.
  • Must reside in British Columbia, with preference for Vancouver or Victoria.
