About the role
- Serve as a subject matter expert; multifamily sector experience is a plus.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for evolving programs.
- Align program development with market trends, goals, and client needs.
- Identify opportunities, analyze issues, and recommend solutions.
- Manage budgets, deliverables, and programs at all stages.
- Evaluate performance and optimize outreach strategies.
- Improve processes and tools for better delivery.
- Ensure accurate reporting and data management.
- Help teammates grow Demand Response knowledge.
- Navigate ambiguity and provide clear recommendations.
- Listen and execute on client vision.
- Manage portions of large contracts or multiple smaller ones (<$2M annual revenue).
- Ensure compliance and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (3–7 members).
Requirements
- 2+ years in demand response, energy efficiency, and program implementation.
- 1+ years in a client-facing role.
- 2–4 years of project management experience.
- Passion for advancing demand response programs, especially in multifamily.
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic and initiative.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills; thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Collaborative, eager to share knowledge and mentor others.
- Ability to work effectively and build relationships in a remote setting.
- Currently living in Oregon.
