💰 $250,000 - $350,000 per year
About the role
- Report directly to Varun Anand, Co-founder & Head of Operations and lead Clay’s recruiting/talent function
- Build and develop the strategy, design, and execution of the recruiting/talent function
- Lead hiring efforts as Clay rapidly grows headcount and ensure hiring of great fits for Clay
- Build out a predictable recruiting function to fuel hiring across the company
- Build and scale the recruiting team, lead headcount planning, vision, and strategy to achieve business targets
- Create and execute employer brand strategy to make Clay a top startup to work for
- Ensure incredible candidate experiences and nurture top talent pipelines
- Bring creative sourcing strategies to surface hard-to-find, non-obvious talent
- Set and assess success metrics; make data-driven decisions to measure talent success
- Partner with business leaders across functions to support hiring goals and talent density
Requirements
- Align with Clay’s Culture and Operating Principles
- Have seen a best-in-class company scale a team from 200 + to 600+ in a leadership role
- Have held a leadership role at a company known for having exceptionally strong talent
- Experience building a strong employment brand at a top-tier company
- Experience building and scaling core and innovative programs to hire and measure talent success across all business areas
- Move with a sense of urgency
- Track record of consistently delivering with quality results
- Can easily partner with a wide range of organizations & collaborate with them to execute mutual goals
- Capable of setting a strategic direction for a team with clear goals and guiding a team to achieve business results
- Strong builder and manager/leader of exceptional recruiting team
- Comfortable with data and making data-driven decisions. Can easily set and assess success metrics
- Can easily communicate complex ideas
- Possess incredible ability to articulate a company’s business and culture to candidates and effectively sell Clay as a great place to work
- Understands other parts of the business to effectively partner with leaders & support hiring goals
