About the role
- Research the market to find potential clients and business opportunities (Identify Acquisition Opportunities)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions (Develop Business Relationships)
- Create and present customized business proposals to clients and negotiate contracts (Present Proposals and Negotiate Contracts)
- Set and achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals while effectively closing deals (Meet Sales Targets)
- Work with Operations and Customer Service to implement acquisition strategies and ensure customer satisfaction (Collaborate with Internal Teams)
- Keep detailed records of client interactions and update information in the CRM system (Maintain Accurate Records)
- Build connections with key personnel in assigned customer accounts (Establish Professional Relationships)
- Engage appropriate company personnel to meet account performance objectives (Coordinate Resources)
- Continuously evaluate and validate customer needs and ensure profitability and quota fulfillment (Assess Customer Needs; Fulfill Sales Quota; Ensure Profitability)
- Maintain sales funnel accuracy and complete strategic account plans that align with company standards (Maintain Funnel Accuracy; Complete Account Plans)
- Identify and cold call potential clients to establish relationships (Research Prospects)
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Business - Economics - etc.)
- 4-6 years experience penetrating new marketplaces using a vertical approach
- 4-6 years experience in the full sales cycle process: Prospecting, setting meetings, follow up, closing, etc.
- Basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and analytical skills
- High Salesforce knowledge
