Accounting Manager

• Execute core components of the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Review balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Analyze financial statement fluctuations and variances to prior periods
• Utilize and manage offshore resources for efficiency
• Streamlining and improving the speed and accuracy of the overall close process
• Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (includes intercompany and consolidations)
• Assist in maintaining Month-end close review decks
• Support audit requirements by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries

Data Scientist

• Own and manage Clair’s experimentation ecosystem, including the design, execution, and analysis of A/B tests across underwriting and product experiences.
• Translate model outputs (e.g., risk scores) into actionable business decisions, such as approval thresholds and lending strategies.
• Serve as the single source of truth for all experiments, ensuring consistency, rigor, and proper interpretation of results across the organization.
• Design experiments that evaluate key levers such as credit limits, accrual mechanisms, and pricing, and quantify their impact on both growth and risk metrics.
• Define and standardize core product and financial metrics, including how we measure model impact, user behavior, and unit economics.
• Partner closely with Product, Finance, Risk, and Engineering teams to align on strategy, evaluate trade-offs, and inform decision-making.
• Act as a strategic advisor, helping stakeholders understand the implications of experiments and guiding data-driven product development.

Partnerships Lead

Operations

• Conduct investigations of high-risk or potential fraud activity, including platform abuse, suspicious financial movement patterns, and unauthorized device access.
• Use an investigative, holistic approach to analyze cases and make confident determinations that are fair, compliant, and risk-mitigated.
• Work across datasets and internal tooling to complete operational tasks including queue management, escalations, and dispute resolution.
• Apply a solid understanding of money movement mechanics — ACH, Card Rails, RTP — and relevant consumer regulations including Reg E, NACHA, and Reg Z.
• Analyze and communicate data trends and patterns clearly to internal stakeholders, translating complex findings into actionable insights.
• Leverage tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Snowflake, SQL, and Tableau to investigate cases and surface meaningful signals.
• Creatively solve problems by connecting data across sources to identify patterns that may not be immediately obvious.

Fraud Operations Specialist

Compliance

• Own and manage the licensing portfolio, including tracking deadlines, coordinating state renewals (lending, money transmission, and related licenses), preparing filings and reports, and maintaining accurate licensing records
• Lead audit readiness and support internal and external audits and regulatory examinations, including organizing documentation, responding to auditor requests, and tracking findings and remediation
• Maintain and continuously improve the compliance management system (CMS), including policies, procedures, training logs, risk assessments, and monitoring and testing programs
• Conduct and oversee third-party vendor risk assessments and ensure ongoing monitoring meets regulatory standards and internal policy requirements
• Review and approve customer-facing materials and marketing collateral for compliance accuracy, required disclosures, and alignment with UDAAP principles
• Assist with ad hoc compliance requests from our Partner Bank and serve as an effective point of contact for Partner Bank stakeholders on compliance matters
• Monitor regulatory updates and communicate key changes and compliance implications to relevant internal stakeholders

General Counsel

• Serve as a primary legal advisor on product counseling matters, providing practical regulatory guidance on new product features, partnerships, and go-to-market strategies
• Advise on consumer financial protection laws, including UDAAP, fair lending, state licensing requirements (lending, money transmission), and other applicable federal and state regulations
• Support all aspects of the compliance management system (CMS), including policies and procedures, training, monitoring, and corrective action
• Review and approve customer-facing materials and marketing collateral for regulatory accuracy and required disclosures
