About the role
- Assist with the binding of coverage and preparation of documentation
- Manage renewal quoting processes, including gathering necessary information, preparing submissions, and ensuring timely delivery
- Handle policy issuance, endorsements, and related documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide service management for a large book of business, ensuring prompt and professional communication with brokers, carriers, and clients
- Ensure adherence to company compliance standards and underwriting guidelines
- Collaborate closely with assigned underwriter to complete tasks, manage workflow, and resolve outstanding issues
- Maintain careful and organized file management, ensuring all documents are accurate, complete, and properly recorded
Requirements
- Proficient in computer applications and documentation management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Analytical and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to continuous growth and professional development
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum 1 year of experience in excess and surplus insurance
