About the role
- Promote and sell Civix software solutions to new and existing clients.
- Focus on GoElect, GoRegister, and GoEthics software solutions.
- Build a pipeline, develop relationships, and drive revenue growth in the Western Region of the US.
- Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align Civix solutions to business outcomes for customers.
- Stay current on competitive landscape and trends.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting in CRM (HubSpot).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Political Science, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of field sales experience, with at least 3 years in government or public sector technology solutions.
- Proven track record of selling software solutions to State and Local government.
- Strong understanding of election processes, ethics compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to establish trust with Executive stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker who can navigate complex political environments and procurement cycles.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
