Be part of Democracy International’s team and support European, international and local projects and general work
Assist in project implementation: support daily operations, coordinate activities with project partners, ensure alignment on deadlines and deliverables
Assist with event planning and coordination
Help manage and maintain relationships with project partners and ensure smooth collaboration
Support ongoing evaluation and reporting: monitor progress, compile data, prepare and submit reports to the EU and other bodies
Assist with project bookkeeping and accounting tasks
Provide general team assistance: prepare documents, coordinate meetings, contribute to administrative tasks, social media and other ongoing projects
Attend required workshops, German language course, and compulsory political seminar
Live in shared volunteer accommodation and coordinate with other volunteers

Full CV including educational and professional qualifications and full employment history
Cover note (max one page) outlining motivation for applying
Willingness to relocate to Germany for a 12-month volunteering programme starting March 2025
Availability to attend workshop series (~25 days), German language course, and 5-day political seminar
Willingness to live in shared accommodation in Cologne (private bedroom)
