Full-stack Engineer

• Ship 2-4 epics per release cycle across our four use cases, with a focus on Procurement/CLM (our highest-ARR workflow).
• Build and maintain features in Ruby on Rails (backend) within our modular monolith architecture.
• Write comprehensive tests (unit, integration, system) maintaining 85%+ code coverage enforced via Codecov.
• Participate in code review with 24-hour turnaround SLA. Give and receive substantive feedback.
• Own your work end-to-end: from epic breakdown with Product, through implementation, QA validation, and deployment to staging/production.
• Contribute to cross-cutting platform components: Smart Tables, approvals engine, document generation, search/filtering, permissions.
• Diagnose and fix bugs triaged through our P0-P4 priority system, with particular attention to customer-impacting issues.
• Pass all automated quality gates on every PR: RuboCop, Brakeman, Erblint, Eslint, Codecov, Packwerk, SonarQube.
• Participate in on-call rotation (onshore team, primary/secondary model) for production incident response.
• Partner with Product Managers to break down epics into estimable stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Work with Solutions Engineers to understand customer configuration needs and ensure features are implementation-ready.
• Contribute to Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) for significant technical decisions.
• Use AI tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude) effectively to increase velocity without sacrificing quality.

Mid-Level Software Engineer

Product Analyst

• Build and maintain product analytics dashboards tracking user behavior, feature adoption, engagement, and performance.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to surface actionable insights that inform product decisions.
• Define and track key product metrics and KPIs; flag anomalies and recommend responses.
• Conduct competitive and market research to identify trends, whitespace, and opportunities in the govtech landscape.
• Support user research initiatives, including synthesizing interview findings and survey results.
• Bring data-driven reasoning to roadmap prioritization conversations.
• Partner with the Head of Product and Senior PM on the full product development lifecycle, from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Write product specs, user stories, and PRDs alongside senior team members.
• Translate research and analytics into inputs that strengthen product requirements and design decisions.

• Ship complex, cross-cutting features across our four use cases: Procurement/CLM (85% of ARR), Grants, Budget, and Legislative Analysis.
• Own the hardest epics: versioning systems, approval workflows, search infrastructure, document generation, and permission models.
• Make architectural decisions that hold up across multiple use cases and customer configurations. Write ADRs for significant decisions.
• Deliver 31 story points per sprint at a senior quality bar: clean code, comprehensive tests, documentation where it matters.
• Set the code review standard for the team. Review PRs within 24 hours with substantive, constructive feedback.
• Own production reliability for your domains: diagnose performance issues, fix root causes, prevent regressions.
• Ensure offshore contributions meet the senior quality bar through review, pairing, and clear architectural guidance.
• Drive improvements to our automated quality gates (RuboCop, Brakeman, Codecov, Packwerk, SonarQube) and testing infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotation. Triage production alerts. Own incident resolution and post-mortem documentation.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code review, pairing sessions, and design discussions.
• Unblock teammates proactively. If someone is stuck, you notice before they ask.
• Partner with Product Managers to break down complex initiatives into shippable epics with clear technical plans.
• Work with Solutions Engineers to ensure features are configurable, implementation-ready, and aligned with customer workflows.
• Contribute to engineering process improvements: sprint planning, estimation accuracy, release predictability.
