About the role
- Provide day-to-day operations support including record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and opening of accounts
- Serve as liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients
- Serve as technical authority for an area within the business, providing advice and counsel related to technology or operations
- Perform analysis to define problems, develop solutions, streamline operational processes and expand operations capabilities for new products and services
- Communicate regularly with all Operations teams and departments and maintain knowledge of Citi’s operational procedures and best practices
- Analyze existing operational processes and apply creativity to complex situations
- Perform User Acceptance Testing and platform rollouts
- Lead projects across multiple Operations areas, coach lower level team members and act as an analytical/procedural expert
- Appropriately assess risk, drive compliance, and escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience
- Experience in developing risk management programs, identifying all significant processes, risks, and assessing key controls and monitoring associated with these significant processes
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Proven organization and time management skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
- Ability to operate with limited direct supervision and exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
- Experience performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and platform rollouts
- Ability to assess risk, ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and escalate control issues
