Responsible for all Financial Reporting delivered to key stakeholders including Citibank Europe plc’s Board of Directors, Senior Management, Irish and EU Regulators, and external/internal auditors
Support production and delivery of IFRS & US GAAP based consolidated Financial Statements and regulatory reporting (FinRep)
Prepare and review different types of reports, reconciliations and analysis with commentary for numerous stakeholders
Perform data analysis from multiple source systems; validate data, identify inconsistencies and propose solutions
Prepare audit support and deliverables to facilitate external annual audit exercises
Manage relationship with offshore Shared Service Centre and support production of Company and Group FinRep and other regulatory reporting by providing guidance
Communicate updates, mapping changes and impacts of new business/deals to the Shared Service Centre to enable effective regulatory reporting
Perform various control functions within financial and regulatory reporting and contribute to Finance projects and initiatives
Requirements
Qualified Accountant (CA, ACA, or equivalent), trained within a Big 4 professional services firm or multinational bank
7-9 years of relevant experience
Experience in Financial Services/Banking industry
Experience with Citi Financial Reporting systems (Pearl, Full Suite, Flexcube, Genesis, etc) and processes including BSS
Data analysis expertise and high proficiency in Excel; comfortable manipulating large datasets
Strong knowledge of Banking Products (Loans, Deposits, Derivatives)
Financial statements production and external audit process experience
Knowledge of CRDIV reporting (FinRep)
Experience reporting and presenting to senior stakeholders including management committees/audit committee
Proven track record working with Accounting Policy, Product Control, Risk, Legal, Company Secretarial teams
Strong knowledge of US GAAP & IFRS Accounting Standards
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; good command of English
Problem solving, decision-making with imperfect information, and process improvement mindset
