Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including day-to-day execution activities and meetings
Examine and evaluate project status, identify potential risks and issues that need escalation or change, and propose solutions to project leads
Determine appropriateness and guide revisions/refinement of presentation content and materials for Governance forums
Manage day-to-day activities related to the overall program/project and associated dependencies; allocate and coordinate work within team or project group
Support resolution of project issues by offering solutions and interpreting/advising on policies, guidelines or processes
Liaise with multiple Data teams/departments and serve as subject matter expert for planning and analysis of project deliverables and processes
Independently conduct analysis and execute tasks contributing to work streams focusing on data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, Data Quality rules, lineage, Data Governance, and taxonomy
Develop and articulate business requirements and map current and future state processes
Contribute tactically to strategic design and process improvement project implementation across lines of business and functions working with Technology and Operations
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
Requirements
6-10 years relevant experience in Banking or Finance preferred
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
Ability to be nimble and adjust priorities as needed
Strong interpersonal skills and project management expertise
Sound analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate complex and dynamic material
Familiarity with data concepts
Communicates effectively across multiple audiences; able to drive consensus and influence at all levels
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred
Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, Data Lineage, taxonomy, and related tools
