About the role
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including day-to-day execution activities and meetings
- Examine and evaluate project status, identify potential risks and issues that need escalation or change, and propose solutions to project leads
- Determine appropriateness and guide revisions/refinement of presentation content and materials for Governance forums
- Manage day-to-day activities related to the overall program/project and associated dependencies; allocate and coordinate work within team or project group
- Support resolution of project issues by offering solutions and interpreting/advising on policies, guidelines or processes
- Liaise with multiple Data teams/departments and serve as subject matter expert for planning and analysis of project deliverables and processes
- Independently conduct analysis and execute tasks contributing to work streams focusing on data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, Data Quality rules, lineage, Data Governance, and taxonomy
- Develop and articulate business requirements and map current and future state processes
- Contribute tactically to strategic design and process improvement project implementation across lines of business and functions working with Technology and Operations
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
Requirements
- 6-10 years relevant experience in Banking or Finance preferred
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
- Ability to be nimble and adjust priorities as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills and project management expertise
- Sound analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate complex and dynamic material
- Familiarity with data concepts
- Communicates effectively across multiple audiences; able to drive consensus and influence at all levels
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred
- Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, Data Lineage, taxonomy, and related tools
