Lead activities including credit review, credit approvals and monitoring the portfolio to identify credit migration in coordination with the Risk Management team
Manage Citi's portfolio exposure to clients and counterparties globally
Develop framework for portfolio risk assessment including evaluation of credit and financial performance across varied lending products and industry segments
Understand and apply applicable credit policies, industry regulations and governance impacts to partners or product initiatives
Establish and leverage cross-functional partnerships and networks with internal and external constituencies
Utilize SAS in a UNIX environment to perform risk, financial and data analyses including profiling, sampling, forecasting and new program due diligence
Prepare risk management presentations for senior management including analytics on expected portfolio performance and areas of potential risk and/or opportunity
Focus on cross-portfolio analytics, develop risk appetite benchmarks, ensure sustainable growth and drive ROTCE integration into decision making
Operate with limited supervision, act as subject matter expert, and escalate/manage/report control issues with transparency
Requirements
10+ years of experience in credit card risk management or equivalent training and experience preferably in the financial services industry
Proven ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals
Demonstrated ability to synthesize and prioritize
Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and analytic skills
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
10+ years of experience with analytical or data manipulation tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, R, SPSS)
Experience using SAS in a UNIX environment
Experience with econometric and statistical modeling or application risk scoring
Experience in big data with knowledge of probabilities/distributions, building decision trees and regression models
Proficiency in MS Office
Demonstrated quantitative, presentation and analytic skills
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Ability to operate with limited supervision, exercise independent judgement, act as SME, and escalate/manage control issues
