About the role
- Report directly to the Head of Pricing Strategy and Optimization for USPB Cards (Branded Cards and Citi Retail Services)
- Develop pricing strategies grounded in data, customer, and operational insights to enhance portfolio profitability
- Leverage financial analysis to enhance portfolio profitability through risk based pricing while balancing customer experience and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Partner across Product, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Technology and Operations to drive pricing strategies for USPB Cards businesses
- Evaluate new initiatives by developing financial sizings, weighing risk/reward tradeoffs, and assessing customer impact
- Retrieve data and conduct data-driven analytics using various analytical tools, software, and techniques
- Develop robust forecasting and tracking capabilities, and ensure robust quality control in pricing processes
- Communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders
Requirements
- 5+ years in product management, pricing, data analytics, risk, or similar function (Financial Services / Credit Card industry preferred)
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to derive actionable business insights from data analysis
- Understands Credit Card products and economics, P&L drivers, and market dynamics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation skills to senior audience members
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple, complex projects at once with minimal guidance
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
