About the role

  • Provide SME support for Business Intelligence products as part of Enterprise Analytical Services Organization.
  • Understand the complete technology stack of the product and identify best implementation approaches at Citi.
  • Automate product installation and configuration for rapid deployments.
  • Understand and implement Citi's product engineering process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to build a portfolio of capabilities for analytical product development across Citi lines of business.
  • Contribute to architecture and engineering deliverables and deliver best-in-class services for the Business Intelligence Services offering.
  • Provide L3/L4 support and guidance to respective applications.
  • Publish best practices, configuration recommendations, design patterns, deployment, and security architecture to internal customers.
  • Use BI toolsets in development from proof of concept to production delivery.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Business Intelligence tool developer or administrator.
  • 2+ years of Linux, Shell scripting experience.
  • 5+ years overall IT experience.
  • Knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem with experience in Hive, MapReduce, etc. is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Python, Java or any programming language is a plus.
  • Good interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills - written and spoken English.
  • Able to interact with client projects in cross-functional teams.
  • Good team player interested in sharing knowledge and cross-training other team members and shows interest in learning new technologies and products.
  • Ability to create documents of high quality.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment and follow procedures, processes and policies.
  • Self-starter who works with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
