About the role

  • The Securities & Derivatives Associate Analyst is a developing professional role identifying policy and applying specialty knowledge in monitoring and assessing processes and data.|Responsible for securities transaction processing execution, securities clearance settlement and derivative operations.|Providing analytic support to traders and support review of derivative products.|Support expansive and diverse array of products services.|Follow established procedures to identify problems related to securities and derivatives settlement requiring investigation or research.|Assist in resolving problems by identifying and selecting solutions through acquired technical experience guided by precedents.|Deliver reports to satisfy management requirements, support control activities, and launch products services.|Provide assistance in the implementation of process improvements.|Minimize risk through knowledge of procedural requirements, adhere to audit and control policies (incl. reconciliation, payment and other processing systems).|Timely management and escalation of all requests inquiries issues errors (mostly post settlement).|Demonstrate intermediate understanding of products and processes and how duties integrate with team.|Demonstrate excellent knowledge of bank related systems.|Utilize strong communication, interpersonal and diplomacy skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders.|Assess risk appropriately, drive compliance, escalate and report control issues with transparency.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience working in Treasury Operations or Middle Office|Good understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies|Ability to work in a structured, high volume, time sensitive, high risk and demanding environment|Good analytical skills and positive attitude|Knowledge of Macros|Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
