About the role

  • Provide operational leadership for the Brand & Advertising Studio, ensuring efficient processes, high-quality deliverables, and on-time delivery.
  • Lead resource planning and workload optimization in collaboration with creative teams, the traffic manager, and project managers.
  • Oversee the Studio's budget governance: forecasting, expense tracking, cost analysis, and optimization of internal and external resources.
  • Manage the Studio’s tools, systems, and digital assets, including licenses, usage rights, and compliance.
  • Recommend, document, and refine collaborative processes and tools between the Studio and business units to improve coordination and performance.
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact between the Studio, business units, and internal partners.
  • Support talent development, onboarding, and the structuring of the freelance pool in alignment with the creative leadership’s vision.
  • Contribute to the Studio’s strategic planning by providing reliable data, analysis, and mid- to long-term vision.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in operations, studio management, creative production, project management, or similar roles, ideally within a creative, marketing, or brand environment.
  • Proven experience managing complex operations including resource planning, traffic management, budgeting, and cross-functional processes.
  • Strong expertise in budget management, financial forecasting, expense tracking, and cost optimization.
  • Excellent understanding of creative production tools and ecosystems (collaboration tools, DAM, post-production tools, digital workflows).
  • Experience managing assets, licenses, and usage rights (photos, videos, fonts, images, digital content).
  • Proven ability to collaborate with creative and technical teams and multiple business units in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Natural leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to structure, prioritize, and evolve processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Analytical, solution-oriented mindset with a strong ability to turn operational data into strategic decisions.
  • Knowledge of hybrid working environments (employees, freelancers, external partners) and talent onboarding and management processes.
  • Based in Montreal and bilingual.
