Manager

• Manage Study Abroad Advisor team: coach, mentor, and ensure the success of staff, including yearly performance review and support with annual goal setting.
• Support Study Abroad Advisors, ensuring they have the knowledge, tools, and strategy to meet or exceed enrollment targets.
• Provide updates on progress of team towards goals using CRM, ad hoc reports, and other tools.
• Organize and conduct weekly meetings with team and individual staff.

• At all times, exercise good professional judgment and consideration in promptly addressing problems and questions that arise with students, parents, and CIEE staff.

Manager, College Enrollment

Director

• Lead the strategy, growth, and delivery of CIEE's High School Custom Programs.
• Drive ambitious year-over-year growth by expanding the breadth of programs with returning schools and winning new school partners.
• Design richer, longer programs that align with private schools' academic goals.
• Manage two Custom Program Managers, providing guidance and support in program delivery.
• Collaborate closely with the national sales team to enhance school relationships and custom program introductions.
• Personally manage 2-3 of CIEE's top strategic Custom accounts, ensuring service and program excellence.

Associate Director – Custom Programs, High School Study Abroad

Admissions Advisor

• Serve as an admissions expert, advising students on appropriate CIEE programs based on their academic interests, goals, and eligibility.
• Provide hands-on guidance to students as they begin, complete, and submit their CIEE applications.
• Offer individualised support.
• Manage a high volume of communication (emails and calls) and respond to inquiries within one working day.
• Schedule prompt follow-up with prospective students to provide support and determine the level of commitment, and execute strategies to inform students about CIEE programs at all phases of the inquiry and application process.
• Organise and host information sessions, webinars, tabling events, and classroom presentations to raise awareness about CIEE programs.
• Support the recruitment, training, and supervision of CIEE Student Ambassadors on campus.
• With the Manager of Institutional Relations, guide their outreach strategies and activities to generate and convert applications for CIEE Study Abroad programs.
• Work with Institutional Relations Managers to ensure alignment with partner institution goals and provide insights from the ground.
• Achieve personal and team qualitative and quantitative targets (i.e., completed applications and conversion of those applications) set by leadership.
• Document call information and input data into the organisational CRM (Salesforce) to ensure seamless communication and progress tracking.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on CIEE program offerings, policies, and tools.

Account Manager

• Act as the general manager of a dedicated sales territory (Illinois and Indiana).
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to meet and exceed student enrollment goals.
• Cultivate and expand relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including principals, teachers, counselors, and alumni, to establish CIEE as the premier partner for global education.
• Actively prospect and conduct high-volume outreach to new schools to build a sustainable pipeline.
• Lead, manage, and mentor direct reports (Enrollment Coordinators) to oversee the student sales process, from lead generation to student travel.
• Maximize conversions through close communication and teamwork.
• Deliver engaging presentations to students, parents, and administrators, both virtually and in-person.
• Travel extensively within your region during the September-February selling season to represent CIEE at conferences and in schools.
• Take ownership of the entire student enrollment pipeline.
• Guide your team to manage their pipelines and convert leads to travelers.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and school relationship statuses in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).

School Partnerships and Outreach Manager, HS Study Abroad

Marketing

• Support HSOB Sales Team with alumni meetings and presentations
• Source alumni or ambassadors to co-present with CIEE staff in their school community to maximize their impact.
• Host weekly presentation preparation refresher workshops with alumni before they present in schools.
• Mediate communications between CIEE sales team and alumni, including providing the sales team with the ambassadors’ slides for presentation.
• Ensure that referral links are always readily available for in-school presentations.
• Coordinate the Global Ambassador and Ambassador Abroad Programs
• Help develop, organize and deliver virtual trainings for our ambassadors.
• Curate and distribute materials to equip ambassadors.
• Coordinate central communications with ambassadors through e-mail, social media, and text messaging.
• Develop and promote monthly referral and engagement contests and communicate with winners.
• Host monthly webinars with ambassadors.
• Develop and send monthly newsletters to champions.
• Source, package and curate alumni and champion stories in the form of blogs, interview clips, photo galleries, podcasts etc. to contribute to CIEE’s content plan and enrich alumni social media and web presence.
• Create pre-packaged marketing materials that alumni and parents can customize to promote CIEE programs and scholarships in their community.
• Help to plan and coordinate the Global Navigator Virtual Fair, including creating zoom meetings and communicating with presenters, developing promotional material for the fair and moderating panels.
• Pilot in-person events to gather ambassadors, parents of alumni or program leaders with local youth.

Marketing Coordinator – High School Outbound

General

• Grow student enrollment in CIEE’s transformative study abroad programs for high school students and recent graduates with effective sales outreach and a goal-driven mindset
• You'll own the entire applicant journey, from initial interest to confirmed participation, proactively guiding students and building trust with students and families every step of the way
• With a passion for relationship building and working with teens, you'll convert inquiries into life-changing study abroad experiences by helping students and families find the programs that best meet their needs and goals
• Convey the value and tangible outcomes of study abroad to U.S. high school students and their legal guardians
• Follow a structured sales outreach process to proactively engage interested leads and applicants via phone, text, and email outreach
• Ability to work through a high daily call volume, 20-60 calls per day, depending on the time of year
• Motivate and coach participants and families through the scholarship and application process
• Work with families to overcome barriers associated with studying abroad in high school
• Provide professional and timely customer service to students and parents throughout the entire application process, including program acceptance, confirmation, and pre-departure preparedness
• Host virtual student and parent-facing webinars, presenting to large groups at a time
• Present to students and parents in person at high schools and fairs in your territory
• Review applications, accept applicants, and convert them to paid participants
• Ensure that financial accounts for participants are accurate and paid in full, and follow up on discrepancies and missing payments
• Use reports within Salesforce (CRM system) to manage your applicant pipeline and reach sales goals
• Maintain accurate records of communication with customers in Salesforce (CRM system)
• Provide on-program participant support for all programs throughout the year
• Participate in sales training throughout the year and consistently work to develop your skills as a sales professional
• Flexibility to work some evening hours to reach students and guardians when they’re available

• Facilitate virtual hiring services, allowing CIEE host employers to interview and hire from their home office via webcam
• Oversee many aspects of virtual hiring, including reviewing host employer needs for seasonal staff
• Advertising to prospective participants through CIEE’s network of International Representatives overseas
• Scheduling and overseeing event execution
• Ensure the completion of interview documents prior to virtual events
• Manage post-event follow-up as necessary
• Maintain accurate hiring records in CIEE’s database
• Collaborate with lateral CIEE teams, host employers, and international representatives on multiple platforms
• Orchestrate virtual and in-person hiring events: create calendar invitations, send reminders to event participants, and communicate adjustments efficiently
• Allocate host employer positions, communicate requirements to international representatives, and make shifts as needed
• Provide live technical support to all stakeholders during hiring events
• Proactively monitor event enrollment and ensure completion of pre-interview requirements
• Provide professional and consistent customer service to all stakeholders
• Manage post-event reporting and maintain accurate hiring records in CIEE’s database, including generation and disbursal of reports to external stakeholders
• Seek continuous improvement to virtual and in-person hiring event processes and update training and event materials annually
• Train colleagues on web-based hiring services and new processes as needed
• Conduct interviews of applicants for placement into seasonal positions and assist teammates as needed with adjacent hiring services
• Manage teams that coordinate the hiring events; meet with team members weekly to ensure hiring goals are met and standards are met
• Work with international representatives to ensure enrollments and placements are occurring
• Analyze data to determine agent hiring service allocation
• Regularly work with team to review job inventory to ensure appropriate strategic decisions are made
