About the role
- Deliver non-clinical education, consultation, and training to Sailors and their families.
- Provide direct services through individual consultations, group training, and information/referral services.
- Deliver classroom training, workshops, and seminars across WFL program areas.
- Provide one-on-one consultation, resource referral, and individualized support to Sailors and families.
- Facilitate relocation assistance, deployment readiness, transition assistance, and life skills education.
- Document services and ensure compliance with Navy reporting requirements.
- Assist with emergency preparedness and crisis response activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a social science or related behavioral science field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Licensure : Not required; non-clinical role.
- Experience delivering training, education, or social services programs.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass background investigation.
- Preferred: Knowledge of military family systems and resources.
- Preferred: Public speaking and group facilitation skills.
