About the role

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities for complex business processes covering problem definition, requirements, design, testing, and implementation.
  • Understand process operating objectives, business rules, performance requirements, risks, controls, and interactions between dependent processes.
  • Support alignment of processes to overall experience strategy and vision.
  • Develop and implement strategic customer-specific business process program plans that align with enterprise strategy and influence roadmaps.
  • Apply expert business knowledge to align and develop deliverable processes and capabilities to materially change and improve business performance.
  • Serve as functional expert to develop end-user focused process solutions.
  • Manage process performance: develop control limits, monitor KPIs, report deficiencies, and drive collaborative improvements.
  • Identify, own, execute, enhance, and align controls to mitigate operational and compliance risks for owned processes.
  • Develop communication plans for customers and internal stakeholders and ensure alignment across projects and services.
  • Utilize reporting, data, and analytics to measure performance and deliver operational efficiencies.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and lead continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Lead solution development including business case and benefits substantiation; drive business requirements for improvements.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance for team members and business partners.
  • Provide business performance intelligence to support planning, research, analysis, development, and implementation of new or modified applications and processes.
  • Ensure risks associated with business activities are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled per risk and compliance policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • 6 years business process execution/knowledge/experience, consulting, and/or process engineering/optimization.
  • Experience in successfully applying quality management, process improvement, and problem-solving tools and methodologies.
  • Experience in implementing and sustaining change/improvements (change champion).
  • Hands on experience with Process Mapping and Modeling and creating and validating process documentation.
  • Experience in the application of process management standards and policies, and knowledge of applicable regulations and risk management practices.
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean, Business Process Management, or similar methodology.
  • Demonstrated experience with utilizing various systems to collect and analyze data.
  • (Preferred) Experience in issue management, including root cause analysis and risk remediation.
  • (Preferred) Control execution background, including control testing and effectiveness validation.
  • (Preferred) Portfolio/Program management experience aligned to strategic business goals.
  • (Preferred) Ability to develop and deliver concise, executive-level briefings and performance reports with strong written and verbal skills.
  • (Preferred) Background in developing and operationalizing plans that support change adoption and engagement.
  • (Preferred) US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner.
