About the role
- provide new and existing clients with an exceptional client experience
- help business clients meet their immediate and long term business goals
- identify opportunities to deepen the CIBC relationship and increase client loyalty
- ensure clients’ financial, credit needs are met
- proactively manage and grow a portfolio of business only connections
- develop and manage a sales pipeline of diverse business banking opportunities
- engage with assigned portfolio, partner referred and other prospective clients
- deliver trusted advice and financial solutions to meet client and prospect needs
- support existing clients and continuously seek new opportunities for client acquisition
- heighten CIBC brand awareness in your community through local events and outreach activities
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in Business Banking or Commercial Banking
- strong knowledge of credit, cash management products and services
- knowledge of business cash flow and financial analysis
- established network in the local business community
- completed an undergraduate degree/diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
