About the role
- Hauling fertilizer and agronomy products to local customers
- Working operations in the warehouse when deliveries are slow
- Preparing trucks and railcars for loading/unloading
- Loading and unloading agricultural inputs from railcars and/or trucks
- Conducting repairs and daily maintenance tasks
- Monitoring and maintaining quality of inventory
- Delivering products such as fertilizer, chemical, seed, feed
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Keeping work areas and vehicles clean and safe
- Performing grounds maintenance and warehouse work
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- Must meet minimum age requirement
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
- Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business demands
- Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred
- Agriculture background preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred
