About the role
- Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently.
- Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading.
- Load and unload agricultural inputs from railcars and/or trucks using machinery/equipment.
- Conduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Regularly inspect in-use equipment.
- Monitor and maintain quality of inventory.
- Deliver products ensuring accurate and on time deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with all laws regarding deliveries.
- Keep all work areas and vehicles in clean, orderly and safe condition.
- Conduct regular housekeeping duties.
- Perform grounds maintenance including snow removal.
- Complete appropriate record keeping and report any customer complaints or safety concerns.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations
- Class A CDL preferred
- Must meet minimum age requirement
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card
- Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business demands
- Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred
- Agriculture background preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred
