• Review the work of other BAS contractors providing QA/QC support
• Provide BAS expertise and opinions to the customer directly
• Deliver quality work via Commissioning / Emulation, Testing, and Simulation
• Maintain and improve client relationships
• Ensure Building Automation systems are optimized

Building Automation System (BAS) Specialist

Electrical Engineer

• Perform code enforcement design and construction reviews to evaluate whether the construction documents have met the requirements of the Electrical applicable codes and standards for the evaluated projects
• Conduct surveys of existing areas and facilities
• Conduct design reviews
• Conduct code compliance inspections
• Witness code required testing
• Assist in code development and implementation
• Execute small systems designs
• Carry out electrical code compliance inspections of all projects for which a permit has been issued
• Ensure conformance with approved design and applicable codes and standards
• Evaluate equipment and controls technology selections and strategies
• Inspect and evaluate electrical designs and installations
• Act as a subject matter expert on all aspects of electrical design, construction, and operation for power generators
• Provide quality assurance through audits and inspections

Engineer

• Support Chinook’s clients by coordinating and delivering commissioning services throughout the facility lifecycle.
• Apply technical expertise to provide solutions to complex problems.
• Coach junior staff and review their work.
• Execute commissioning and retro-commissioning services for new/existing buildings.
• Plan and lead retro-commissioning investigations to identify operational deficiencies and improve energy management.
• Prepare commissioning and retro-commissioning plans, specifications, checklists, functional performance tests, etc.
• Conduct facility assessments and operational reviews to identify performance improvement opportunities.
