About the role
- Lead the team responsible for enrolling landowners in the Forest Carbon Works Conservation Membership Program
- Improve pipeline conversion and increase forested acres enrolled by collaborating with sales reps and sales support
- Spend time with the team and prospective landowners to understand product alignment and market demands
- Collaborate with the Natural Resources Team (certified foresters) to manage pipeline and develop skills, improve processes and tailor products to drive growth
- Report to the Chief Commercial Officer and work with the sales team to ensure the highest standards are met

Requirements
- Lead, drive performance and attain goals for the organization’s sales team and sales support roles
- Motivate, guide and support the membership team through team and 1:1 meetings, in-person offsites and joint prospective member visits
- Analyze the effectiveness of sales efforts and team performance through evaluation and improvement of sales team skills, training, sales collateral, enablement tools and collaboration with other teams
- Take an active role helping to close opportunities with key large landowners, providing direct guidance and coaching to the team
- Evaluate sales organization design, protocols, compensation and tools to maximize effectiveness
- Communicate team goals, performance and priorities to members of the Senior Leadership Team
- Collaborate with Marketing to evolve value proposition and positioning based on market-informed insights
