About the role
- Execute business strategy for assigned Program(s) by establishing relationships with Program Administrators and underwriting within authorized limits Lead a team of Program Managers: set strategy, manage operations, mentor, create knowledge sharing Manage portfolio profitability, underwriting, distribution, expense management, and financial reporting Provide market-facing leadership and customer engagement; serve as primary Program Administrator contact Identify and manage new business opportunities including due diligence and negotiation of rates, terms, and conditions Collaborate on complex projects, ensure compliance with regulations, oversee contract documentation and production Manage budgeted resources, forecast expenses, and meet fiscal responsibility
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience 10+ years relevant experience with casualty and workers compensation lines of business Direct underwriting experience and experience with program administrators and/or managing general agents Ability to build and maintain relationships, negotiate, influence executives, present to stakeholders, coach employees, and manage budgets
