Accountant

• Own and manage day-to-day accounting for both companies. Maintain accurate general ledger and chart of accounts. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial statements. Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Process employee reimbursements and vendor payments. Prepare monthly financial reports for the leadership team. Assist with budgeting and expense tracking. Support cash flow monitoring and forecasts. Maintain organized documentation of financial records. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all tax filings (including state, federal, and franchise taxes). Maintain compliance with IRS and state-level reporting requirements. Liaise with external CPA or legal advisors as needed for audits or filings. Track and renew necessary business registrations and licenses. Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and internal controls. Help integrate and optimize tools such as QuickBooks, ADP, or Connecteam (if applicable). Support implementation of any future finance-related tools or tech.

• Assist with processing orders and finance-related administrative tasks
• Create, maintain, and enter information into databases
• Update paperwork, maintain documents, and perform word processing
• Manage filing systems and record information as needed
• Help organize and maintain office common areas
• Perform general office clerk duties and errands
• Maintain office equipment and order supplies as needed
• Greet clients and visitors as needed and aid with client reception
• Manage inventory, including creating and handling shipping orders
• Maintain and replenish office supply inventory
