Design, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems for next-gen pyrolysis technology.
Wire up control cabinets, construct cables, and develop AC power circuits for pyrolysis and biomass systems.
Select and integrate sensors, VFDs, and motor controllers with focus on reliability, safety, and scalability.
Partner with operations as first line of defense diagnosing electrical and sensor issues during production.
Run root cause analyses, implement fixes, and keep pyrolysis systems online.
Collaborate with mechanical and automation teams to implement electrical upgrades and sensor packages for prototypes.
Test new equipment, share lessons learned, and develop scalable designs for future builds.
Participate in scheduled on-call support windows to resolve live production issues.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely-related field.
Solid experience designing and wiring industrial three phase systems (480 VAC and below).
Proficiency with motor controllers, VFDs, and industrial sensors (thermocouples, strain gauges, flowmeters).
Hands-on familiarity with PLCs (ladder logic or structured text), cabinet building, and system integration.
Comfortable working on or near industrial equipment, 480 VAC circuits, and fast-moving production timelines.
Strong troubleshooting instincts—ability to diagnose and root-cause electrical/sensor issues.
Able to translate electrical designs into real-world solutions, fast.
Eager to collaborate across mechanical, automation, and operations teams.
Comfortable getting your hands dirty and documenting work for future builds.
Steady under pressure when production depends on it.
