About the role
- Perform three-way match of purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices
- Review and verify invoice accuracy, terms, and approvals
- Enter a high volume of invoices daily into the accounting system and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Track expenses and process expense reports
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Maintain organized, up-to-date documentation and paperless filing systems for financial records and audit readiness
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements and development of standard operating procedures subject to CFO review
- Support multi-branch accounting operations
- Assist as a backup to the receptionist as needed
Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience, including three-way matching
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite); experience with Epicor Solar Eclipse is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Preferred: Experience in distribution or manufacturing; familiarity with Epicor Solar Eclipse.
