About the role
- Drive new distribution and develop strong relationships with pet specialty stores and garden centers.
- Position yourself as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador.
- Identify opportunities for growth and expand the availability of products across existing and new outlets within Specialty Pet Trade.
- Execute merchandising initiatives, product activations, and training sessions to enhance visibility.
- Support retailers in navigating the challenges of a rapidly changing retail environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues from Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Key Account Management, and Trade Marketing.
Requirements
- A degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, Nutrition or Animal Science.
- 3–5 years of field sales experience, ideally in FMCG or pet nutrition.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, French is a pre, but not mandatory.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within your region.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, combined with an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.
- A genuine passion for animals and pet nutrition, making you a credible partner for your customers.
