About the role
- Lead an electronic discovery team supporting a large government project and Government professionals.
- Provide project management, ESI intake, data analysis, early case assessment, and document production.
- Liaise with third-party vendors and build/maintain vendor relationships.
- Perform administrative functions for eDiscovery databases: database creation and maintenance, importing data, searching/exporting, scanning, OCR, coding, and productions.
- Process and publish electronically stored information for cases and prepare documents/exhibits for trial.
- Receive and log incoming media; maintain chain of custody and tracking documentation for media and data.
- Contribute to internal process development, prepare workflows and documentation.
- Work directly with General Counsel, Attorneys, Law Clerks, and Legal Assistants as part of matter teams.
- Assist with troubleshooting of technical issues within the eDiscovery platform.
- Maintain knowledge of discovery best practices and regulations through training and certifications.
Requirements
- An understanding of the litigation lifecycle and electronic discovery/document review processes, procedures and practices is required.
- 7+ years of experience in a litigation support, electronic discovery and/or technology support environment.
- Experience performing Administrator and Case Manager functions in Relativity.
- Experience with providing end-user support on all Litigation Support applications, including assisting with end-user training.
- Experience with Relativity, Nuix, Concordance, IPRO and other applicable eDiscovery software platforms.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance.
- Ability to work overtime hours, including on nights and/or weekends, on a per-project/case basis.
- Ability to learn new eDiscovery review platforms quickly.
- Troubleshooting technical issues within eDiscovery platforms.
- Experience importing images, data and transcripts, document scanning, OCR and coding, searching and exporting data.
