About the role

  • Reporting to the Head of Reward, you’ll play a key role in delivering CFC’s global reward and benefits strategy.
  • Working as part of a small experienced and highly technical reward team, you’ll have real ownership of how our programmes run today and how they evolve as we continue to grow.
  • Collaborating with HR and senior leaders, you’ll help develop frameworks that strengthen the link between performance and reward, offering clear, expert guidance on benchmarking, reward structures and job grading.
  • You’ll also take responsibility for salary survey submissions, producing meaningful reward analytics and reporting, and handling day‑to‑day and more technical reward queries.
  • You’ll manage the full breadth of our benefits offering, working closely with providers and brokers to ensure schemes remain cost‑effective, consistent, and supportive of employee wellbeing across both the UK and our international locations.
  • You’ll run the annual compensation review cycle end‑to‑end, ensuring robust moderation, fair outcomes, and a smooth process through our systems

Requirements

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills, able to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling sensitive or complex reward data
  • Excellent analytical and numerical ability, with confidence interpreting data and using insights to guide decision‑making
  • Well‑organised, able to manage competing priorities and deliver at pace
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong IT literacy, including advanced Excel (VBA)
  • Confident collaborating across HR, finance, leadership teams and external partners, building strong working relationships
  • Able to influence without relying on hierarchy and guide stakeholders toward fair, consistent reward decisions
  • Capable of managing and developing a small team, providing clarity, support and direction
  • Significant experience in compensation and benefits, ideally within financial services or insurance
  • Strong understanding of reward structures, employee benefits, as well as employment legislation
  • Proven track record of designing, managing and improving reward programmes that support engagement and organisational growth
  • Hands‑on experience leading annual compensation cycles, including salary review, bonuses, moderation and system management
  • Comfortable working with external market data and salary surveys (e.g. McLagan, WTW) to support job grading and benchmarking
  • Experience running or improving benefits programmes, and working with brokers and benefit providers
  • Skilled in producing clear reward analytics, reporting and insights for senior leaders and governance forums
  • Familiarity with operating in scaling or global environments where reward frameworks and benefits evolve over time
