About the role

  • Provide excellent administrative support primarily to the transaction liability team and other underwriting teams as required.
  • Manage the underwriting central inboxes and log new and renewal submissions on CFC’s internal underwriting system.
  • Prepare various activity reports and spreadsheets as directed.
  • Administer the department diary, chase outstanding items such as subjectivities, assist with invoicing and setting up new clients.
  • Answer incoming calls and field queries as appropriate.
  • Review and amend transaction documents including non-disclosure and hold harmless letters.
  • Work with support functions to ensure timely progression of transactions from initial submission to policy binding (including administrative aspects).
  • Perform general ad-hoc administrative duties as required.

Requirements

  • Entry-level role; no prior insurance experience required.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of mergers and acquisitions preferable.
  • Background in law, business, finance or related field preferred.
  • Organisational skills with ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines and turnaround times.
  • Excellent attention to detail including accurate written and numeracy skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications - Outlook, Word and particularly Excel.
  • Working proficiency in Spanish, French and/or Italian.
