- CFC are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Controller to join our growing global Finance team, based out of our Melbourne office.
- As our first Australia-based Financial Controller you'll provide financial management, strategic insights, and operational support to CFC Australia's insurance underwriting business, helping manage and drive our significant growth plans.
- Additionally, you'll oversee all accounting, controls, and tax for the entire of CFC Australia's operations (including a Cyber Security company and nascent Claims entity), ensuring regulatory compliance and managing external audits.
- This role involves close collaboration with Group Finance based out of our global HQ in London
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification, such as CPA, and have studied a related field to degree level or equivalent.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, fostering collaboration and development.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
