About the role
- Support the Accounting & financial Systems group’s leadership in the pursuit of executing core activities
- Work in a dynamic environment with a focus on being agile in order to meet the growing and changing needs of stakeholders across the organization

- Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to identify problems and develop solutions

Requirements
- You're pursuing or have completed a professional accounting or finance designation (CPA, CFA, or FRM)
- 2-4 years of experience in financial services
- Familiarity with core financial systems
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational skills
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- A keen eye for accuracy and detail
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- A proactive mindset—you're comfortable questioning existing processes and suggesting improvements
- A collaborative spirit—you're supportive, respectful, and actively contribute to team success
- Experience building strong working relationships, resolving conflicts constructively, and mentoring teammates
- Knowledge of financial instruments, securitization, the Canada Mortgage Bond program, derivatives, and securities/derivatives settlements and administration
