  • Our Business Development Manager is responsible for developing relationships that lead to sales, managing accounts, and generating new leads across a range of industries to support business growth through our managed services solutions.

Requirements

  • **What you'll do:**
  • - Own a defined territory or customer segment, building and nurturing a healthy pipeline from lead generation through to contract negotiation and close.
  • - Be accountable for outcomes measured through pipeline coverage, new logo acquisition, monthly/quarterly/annual revenue attainment, and customer outcomes.
  • - Develop and execute business development strategies focused on sustainable growth, margin, and long-term customer value.
  • - Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • - Identify, qualify, and develop new leads through industry research, networking, events, and outbound prospecting campaigns.
  • - Manage existing accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion.
  • - Run product and solution demonstrations that clearly articulate value, outcomes, and benefits to customers and prospects.
  • - Prepare, present, and negotiate proposals, contracts, and commercial terms.
  • - Collaborate closely with Solutions, Marketing, and internal delivery teams to convert prospects into long-term customers and ensure successful outcomes.
  • - Sell managed services offerings including IT support, infrastructure, cloud, security, and Hardware as a Service (HaaS).
  • - Maintain accurate CRM hygiene, including activities, next steps, close dates, deal values, and probability, and provide weekly sales forecasts.
  • - Produce quarterly pipeline reviews and account or territory performance insights.
  • - Conduct ongoing research to identify customer needs, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • - Identify and implement improvements to sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • - Work cross-functionally to continuously improve the end-to-end customer experience.
  • **What you'll bring:**
  • - Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving sustainable business growth.
  • - Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, margins, contract terms, risk assessment, and disciplined deal qualification.
  • - Proven experience selling technology solutions or services (hardware, software, or managed services).
  • - Strong understanding of sales methodologies and CRM tools.
  • - Confident presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences, including CIOs, IT Managers, CFOs, and Operations leaders.
  • - Understanding of common technology frameworks (e.g. Microsoft ecosystems, networking and security principles) and the ability to position solutions based on customer outcomes.
  • - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • - Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • - Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
