About the role
- Drive vendor management best practice implementation through data analysis and reporting
- Assist in dissemination of vendor management tools and resources
- Collect and assess data to ensure adherence to best practices and track impact of vendor resets
- Handle complex data projects and manage Contract Summary approval process
- Maintain/update vendor management playbook and repositories of tools & references
- Conduct maturity assessment of VMOs and create plans to address capability and talent gaps
- Provide advanced analytical support for vendor management business operations
- Review data to determine operational impacts; elevate issues, trends, and opportunities to management
- Scan vendor baseline for risks/opportunities and execute resets
- Coordinate with VMOs to collect vendor performance data and artifacts (e.g., QBRs)
- Assess vendor performance and support vendor managers in conducting resets via toolkit dissemination
- Estimate investments/savings associated with vendor resets and maintain vendor performance dashboard
- Monitor adherence to new processes and track hub success through impact and adoption metrics
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent experience required
- 4+ years in data analysis, vendor management or related field required
- Ability to handle complex data projects
- Experience with vendor management tools and playbooks
- Experience conducting maturity assessments and identifying capability/talent gaps
- Experience estimating investments/savings associated with vendor resets
- Experience maintaining dashboards and reporting vendor performance
- Ability to coordinate with VMOs and collect vendor performance data and artifacts
