About the role

  • Deliver value by leveraging Cushman & Wakefield’s aggregated spend to negotiate rates and contractual terms at client property level
  • Select and manage robust preferred supplier program inclusive of manufacturers and distributors
  • Lead development and implementation of category strategies and supplier relationship management company wide
  • Accompany executives on new client pitches and client quarterly business reviews to highlight procurement benefits
  • Work with Marketing to draft case studies, white papers and update internal and external website platforms
  • Establish category plans and strategy; align with procurement business partners and service line leadership
  • Drive EBITDA growth through preferred suppliers and utilize demand planning to target value from agreements
  • Monitor preferred supplier utilization, build roster, and monitor supplier performance
  • Develop and use data analytics to mine spend data and perform in-depth analysis
  • Communicate preferred supplier metrics and drive adoption across business units; work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Technology, HR, Project Management
  • Work with Legal Counsel to ensure consistent templates for negotiations and risk mitigation
  • Apply continuous improvement and change management techniques to develop and deploy preferred supplier program

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7-10 years of facilities category management and/or operational experience from within the supply chain
  • Professional certifications preferred e.g., CPSM, CIPS, C.P.M., or evidence of continued professional growth
  • In-depth knowledge of Procurement and fundamentals
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in MRO or supplies procurement
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Capacity to develop innovative strategies and solutions; creative problem solver
  • Contract negotiation and ongoing management skills
  • Analytics, ability to mine data to drive in depth analysis of client 3rd party spend
  • Building and managing diverse supplier relationships
  • Ability to independently lead & manage multiple projects
