About the role
- Provide sales coverage and develop best possible market penetration for all products to present and prospective accounts in assigned territory
- Provide education and assistance to Medicare individuals and distribute health education materials
- Arrange for health screenings and provide Facilitated Enrollment and recertification assistance
- Identify prospective enrollees and determine eligibility for participation in the Advantage Medicare product
- Develop a presence in the local community to help generate enrollments and market on-site at hospitals, senior centers, assisted living facilities, community events
- Conduct home visits and personalized appointments as needed to complete the enrollment process
- Understand and apply policies/procedures pertaining to disclosures, enrollment and disenrollment for Advantage Medicare product
- Assist members in accessing health care, transportation needs and other services
- Keep informed of marketing guidelines from regulatory agencies and competitive products
- Conduct and participate in telemarketing/outreach efforts, attend sales meetings and training programs
- Complete applications timely and accurately, submit special reports regarding territory operations and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma , GED or equivalent required
- 1+ years marketing, sales or community relations experience including previous managed care experience, preferably in Medicare required
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- State Accident and Health Insurance Agent License Upon Hire required
- Current state driver's license Upon Hire required
- Ability to conduct home visits and personalized appointments as needed to complete the enrollment process
- Ability to market on-site at hospitals, senior centers, assisted living facilities, community events and other designated sites
- Ability to participate in telemarketing/outreach efforts as required
