About the role

  • Plans, conceptualizes, configures, and builds solutions that solve common challenges within the business using technological tools or programs. Conducts research and requirement gathering to determine customer needs and drive strategy and oversee the development process. Cross-functional role working in collaboration with multiple teams and specialists. Takes an active role in design, development, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance. Writing code for software programs and applications using inheritance and virtualization following best programming practices. Performs complex research and analysis to find best solutions to stakeholder requests or problems. Conducts meetings to gather requirements and updates on ongoing projects and maintains communication with stakeholders during solution development. Collaborating with peers on development and solution strategy and performs regular code reviews and requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience. 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Completion of a technical training program (e.g. LaunchCode, FDM, etc.) may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree. Healthcare experience a plus. Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Comfortable working in a cloud-based tech environment. Solid SQL and frameworks skills. Experience with Object Oriented programming such as Python and C#. Web-based application development, Windows-based application development, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Experience with Business Intelligence Tools, such as Power BI, MicroStrategy, SAS, SQL or Business Objects a plus. Experience with various databases, including Mongo DB, SQL Server, Oracle or Teradata preferred.
