• Lead and define the overall architecture, data, and cloud strategy for our largest client accounts, leveraging expertise like enterprise modernization and capability mapping
• Confidently engage with and present to customer C-level executives, aligning their strategic objectives with the Celonis technical strategy
• Drive innovation by identifying and architecting solutions that leverage emergent technologies, including Agentic AI
• Be the bridge between our product & engineering teams within Celonis and the client's teams to provide the best technical services
• Assess the IT landscape maturity of our customer installed base for the region
• Participate in pre-Sales and post-Sales phases by engaging with customer Architecture and security teams
• Coach and guide Celonis consulting teams and ecosystem partners on technical implementation issues such as architecture, integration, performance, and scalability
• Develop re-usable assets for the consulting teams on projects
• Develop customer-facing position papers, assets, and thought leadership presentations on architecture and innovation with Celonis
• Create technical designs and presentations for internal and client stakeholders

Principal Value Engineer – Oil & Gas

Account Executive

• Drive New Business: Identify and develop new opportunities within a defined territory, targeting enterprise accounts to secure new logos.
• Own the Sales Cycle: Manage the entire sales process—from prospecting and qualification to closing six-figure deals.
• Engage Strategic Stakeholders: Build relationships across multiple lines of business, engaging with C-level executives, operational leaders, and key decision-makers.
• Deliver Tailored Solutions: Develop deep understanding of customer needs and demonstrate how Celonis’ solutions solve strategic and operational challenges.
• Showcase Value: Present use-case-specific pitches and demos, independently or with Value Engineers, to highlight measurable impact.
• Collaborate with Partners: Work closely with Big 4 consulting firms, SaaS providers, and industry partners to enhance value proposition.
• Leverage Team Support: Partner with virtual team including business development representatives, pre-sales, customer success, marketing managers, and partner managers.
• Reporting: Role reports to the Industry Sales Director; primary goal to land new logos and expand market share in North America.

• Own an individual revenue target, closing six-figure deals and driving upsell and cross-sell initiatives.

• Lead and coordinate with a virtual team, including business development representatives, marketing managers, partner managers, sales engineers, customer success managers, and professional services teams.
