About the role
- Develop and implement statistical, predictive, and prescriptive models to optimize workforce management processes.
- Explore and analyze large volumes of data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Build and validate optimization models for complex problems such as resource allocation, scheduling, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (IT, Operations, Business) to translate challenges into data-driven solutions.
- Ensure quality, governance, and documentation of developed models and pipelines.
- Support the definition of metrics and KPIs for performance monitoring.
Requirements
- Strong academic background in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Extensive experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and data science libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Knowledge of optimization solutions (Gurobi, PuLP, OR-Tools and/or Pyomo).
- Experience with SQL and handling large databases.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights.
- Analytical, results-oriented profile.
- Proactive and able to work in dynamic environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration across functions.
- **Preferred:**
- Practical experience applying optimization models to real-world problems.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, especially AWS.
- Experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with CI/CD and MLOps environments.
